My point is, its ridiculously difficult to make profit by not selling EVERYTHING in your store (armory being an exception ofc), customers dont have to look for store for things they want anymore, the stores HAVE to look for what customers want and put that in store.
So maybe add the option where you can specify what specific type of store you run (groceries, jewelery, IKEA, etc.) so it actually just attracts NPCs with appropiate demands
